This lounge bar-restaurant, set fairly close to the city’s airport, is a premier destination to unwind over a wide and elegant range of tipple. Besides the long and classy list of whiskys, blends, single malts, bourbons and Scotches offered here, the bartender’s special cocktails also include some inventive options, such as the Forbidden Apple with whiskey, cinnamon, cloves, apple juice and fresh mint, the Rose Gimlet with gin and plum puree, and the Waitan Cooler with vodka, fresh ginger, lychee, lemongrass and fresh lime. To best accompany the spirits, the list of in-house snacks here also includes a selection from the neighbouring specialty Italian resto, La Terrazza, besides the establishment’s own small but competent menu. The former includes dishes such as calamari fritti, parma ham with melon, a cheese platter with pumpkin jam and multigrain crostini, and Spanish gambas al ajillo of chilli, garlic, prawns and sourdough bread. Of the latter, the mezze sampler, kurkure kumbh (stuffed with peppers and cheese and deep fried), cheeseburger with tenderloin and cheddar and kheema pao are of special note.
