Appetite, located at 7 Hotels, is a humble eatery that offers contemporary interiors and good service. The menu is fairly straightforward and rather simple so there is something for everyone. The large framed photographs on the walls display the history of Pune and some very important landmarks. The food includes a basic variety of North Indian curries and even Chinese done in a desi way. Try the ‘Murgh Malai Tikka’ - succulent and well balanced in taste. If you like something spicy though, you would love the ‘Mutton Seekh Kebab’ – spicy and flavourful served with mint chutney. The drinks and beverages include fresh juices and even milkshakes so take your pick. We tried the 'Orange and Carrot Juice', nice and fresh, we wish there were some mocktails to accompany the food though. The menu of mains is short and simple with some classics on offer, we love the top-selling ‘Laal Maas’. Some other dishes include ‘Butter Chicken’, ‘Chicken in Hot Chili Sauce’, ‘Tofu and Manchurian in Black bean Sauce’ – most of them being a good mix of Indo-Chinese cuisine. The Chinese curries taste good but they are quite oily and that is a little unnatural. There is a limited choice of desserts. They offer day's special apart from the regulars. We had the ‘Blueberry Cheesecake’ from the specials and it was delightful.
