Part cafe, part dainty drawing room, Latitude 28, run by the redoubtable Ritu Dalmia is perpetually crowded. It overflows at mealtimes because of the hearty snack/light meal formula that Dalmia does so effortlessly. It helps as the décor appears to be a stylish drawing room more than a conventional restaurant, though there are dining chairs as well as overstuffed sofas. The food may be marginally biased towards Italian but there are Middle Eastern and even a couple of home-style dishes on the menu, together with the trademark desserts.
