Kwality is a fine dining restaurant located at the heart of New Delhi, Connaught Place. It is possibly the forerunner in establishing a dining culture in India. Opened in 1940, this iconic restaurant still occupies its original spot in Connaught Place. While there have been changes in the decor, but the menu and the food have not changed much. Signature dishes such as the ‘Dahi Ke Kebab’, ‘Kwality Chicken Kebab’, ‘Masala Chops’ and ‘Cheese Balls’ are must-haves for appetizers. For the main course ‘Chana Bhature’, ‘Murgh Makhani’, ‘Chicken Bharta’ and ‘Taar Gosht’ go very well with the ‘Garlic Naan’. There is also a European food section, which includes dishes like the ‘Vegetable Au Gratin’, ‘Chicken Gaylord’ and ‘Coq Au Vin’. From dress code of the servers to foreign brass bands, from formal high teas to midnight dance, it is hard not to fall in love with Kwality.

Kwality, an 80-year-old establishment, is doing exactly that. Known as Delhis oldest restaurant, Kwality first opened its doors in 1940, a lifetime in fickle ever-changing fine dining world. This iconic fine dining restaurant still manages to retain a distinct old-fashioned vibe, which many of its regulars still come back for. Since 80-yrs the restaurant is situated firmly at Regal Building, Parliament Street, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
