The coffee shop at the Lalit has survived many avatars of this hotel – as The Intercontinental, The Hilton, The Crowne Plaza, The Grand, etc. – without being anything more than a place where hotel guests and tour groups could be fed. Over the last year, however, the cuisine has been transformed and the lunch and dinner buffets boast food of a very high quality. It is just the place for a quick meal if you are in the area.

The Lalit, Connaught Place in New Delhi is home to a wonderful all day dining restaurant. By the name of 24/7 the restaurant has managed to gain loads of attention for its food and ambience. The décor is classy and posh but 24/7 is far from stiff. The restaurant is welcoming and ideal place to celebrate special occasions or to even take a date. Dark brown interiors with geometrical lamps throws a contemporary feel. This is the kind of place you go to if you want to flaunt and impress your guests. The wide spacious room is dotted with comfortable couches designed to linger for a while longer. The lush green outdoor sitting area can be utilised under good weather conditions. Though 24/7 is well known for its a la carte menu but it’s buffet is out of this world. The wide spread of Indian, Continental and Pan Asian dishes will charm you to try everything.
