Windsor Pub has hardly bothered to be part of any trend. For an old Bengalurean, especially in the vicinity, it is a go-to place for beer and pandi curry, or fried fish, or curry and rice. Or even just a plate of fries. The music is good (mostly rock and pop), and the beer is often chilled, sometimes not even that. But no one cares. You go there to sit at your favourite table, and find comfort in the familiar surrounding. Try the kane (ladyfish) masala or rava fry, brain and onion fry, or the regular peanut masala, chilli pakodas, Marina Beach sundal, or chicken nuggets with your beer. To eat, the crab rasam, the pandi curry, chicken mappas, Ceylon egg and keema parathas are the favourites.
