Dressed up to look like a library, Watson's at Vasanth Nagar is way cooler than its Ulsoor avatar. With a bookshelf handy for the lone visitors, or the bored visitors, the place exudes a lovely warmth. The food includes mostly bar food, with a range of kababs and quick eats such as masala peanuts, chana jor garam, crispy chilli corn and so on. Plus there are subs and pizzas for the posh drinkers. One can, however, happily drink beer, or over-sweetened cocktails (if that's your thing), with some old-school chilli chicken, mogo (golden fried cassava) or mutton chops. And yes, they have chilli beef on the menu too.
