My earliest memories of Raj Pavilion are of heading there for a coffee at the end of a late night on the town. It was the best way to stay out a little longer and feel very good about oneself. Raj Pavilion has evolved immensely over the years. The buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with the À la carte menu, ensure that there is something for everyone. If you are headed for the buffet, be sure to check out for the current promotion. The focus changes on a regular basis and the kitchen goes all out on the theme – from 'Days of the Raj' specials to Streets Foods of the World and more, there are plenty of great short term festivals. If you are looking at the À la carte, the Burrata with Anise Poached Pears comes with a cold mound of Burrata, crunchy Ciabatta and pears poached in anise and drizzled with some balsamic. The Pavilion Shrimp Cocktail is a great choice with its Curry Leaf Mayo and kokum flavour. The Singaporean Laksa is quite soothing and do not forget to try something from the Local Love section – a tribute to the city. The Bisi Bele Bath comes with several accompaniments, great of which are the Papaya Relish and parmesan cheese shreds.
