Lazy Suzy has for its mascot, a nice, overfed happy cat, lolling around after a good meal. Cat lovers ourselves, this for us, was a good omen on the food to come. We started with the salads and the 'Red Wine Soaked Pear, Melon, Haricot Bean, Fennel and Greek Feta with a Verjuice Vinaigrette and Toasted Almonds' is a great beginning to make. Suzy’s 'Tuna Nicoise Salad' has just the right amount of tanginess from the brine, soft boiled eggs, which are done right, and all the other trappings needed to make it a good salad. Pairing it with a 'Mushroom and Thyme Soup' would be my idea of a good meal. The restaurant does a nice breakfast menu with runs for most of the day – the signature pancakes and French toast, along with eggs made in a few ways are a great way to brunch on any day. The artisanal sandwiches and gourmet burgers offer quite a selection for those inclined that way – the 'Moroccan Spiced Chicken Croissantwich', the 'Turkish Chicken Wrap', 'The Gruyere cheese, tomato, iceberg Croissantwich' and 'Herb Rubbed Grilled Vegetables on Focaccia' make for a great meal. The pizzas are made of sourdough here, giving them an advantage over all the regular ones available out there. The Chicken, Scamorza and Olive and the Genovese for the vegetarians are lovely choices. The pastas are good, I personally would go with th 'Aglio Olio Pepperoncino'. And, for those of you who like your risottos – the 'Bacon Chilly Flake and Sage' is a good one, albeit a bit spicier than it should be. Lazy Suzy is well known for its desserts and pastries – the 'Granny Smith Apple Pie' does not scrimp on the apples, the 'Crème Brulee Classic', as well as the 'Vanilla Bean Panacotta' are good ways to end. The 'Cookies and Cream Shake' is like a dessert in a glass.
