Lakeview is a Bengaluru institution, begun by an Englishman in 1930 before being sold to the current family in the 1940s. Folks who used to drive up from Chennai back in a day, so they could partake of the sundaes here. With outlets on MG Road, Koramangala and Indiranagar’s 100 Feet Road, this place is known for being open late and offering car-side service. Definitely try the American malted shake (thick shake), and the toasted roast lamb sandwich. Their cake sundaes and milkshakes have a faithful following, too.
