With limited options in Mumbai for Sindhi food and the usual aloo tuk, sai bhaji on offer, naturally, the exhaustive menu of this newly opened restaurant, is a whiff of fresh air. A cosy place with 2 levels – a family dining area and another with a lively bar, this restaurant exudes a comfortable vibe. Apart from soups, snacks, one can expect to enjoy hearty main course dishes in vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The bar menu with funky cocktails and some classics is equally unique. The vegetarian dishes are an absolute treat. 'Lotus Stem', 'Brinjal', 'Pumpkin', 'Bitter Gourd', are available in a myriad form - 'Chane Ji Dal Mein Turiya' to 'Katar Ji Bhaaji' and 'Bhugal Bhean Vadialoo'. The food is well-spiced but not overpowered with masalas. The ingredients are clearly the hero in each dish and these abound with distinct flavours. Carnivores need not despair. 'Kara Mirchan Mei Chicken', 'Photey Bhugal Reevan', 'Macchi Sai Masala Mei', will entice your palates sufficiently. Pair these with the unique 'Chawar Je Atte Je Dodo' or the 'Kharoshti Roti'. The 'Mutton Sindhi Dum Biryani', which is slow-cooked and packed with flavours is worth a try. Among desserts, the 'Singgar Ji Mithai' is a must-try. Service is warm and the staff is efficient.
