Hidden among shops, on a busy road, one can actually miss this restaurant, unless you are looking for it. Popular as a home-delivery place, it offers seating in the basement where one goes down precariously from a narrow staircase. The ambience is staid and the seating somewhat stifling. The menu is exhaustive with dishes from Indian and Chinese cuisine with a clear emphasis on North Indian and Mughlai food. The staff is helpful and polite. The Avadhi tunda kabab did not live up to its name and was crumbly, but the Irani style chicken more than made up with its luscious flavours. The chicken bhuna was robust and flavourful. The Avadh chicken biryani is worth a try too. For vegetarians, Rajasthani bhindi and Kashmiri dum aloo are a good bet. The portions are hearty and the prices pocket-friendly. For lovers of Chinese cuisine, there are options galore, albeit with artificial flavours and additives.
