Urban Asia is one of the oldest Pan-Asian restaurants in Hyderabad, and also amongst the most popular. The newer Gachibowli outlet is comparatively less busy but the original outlet at Jubilee Hills gets full to the brim on weekends. The dining area is shared between Eat India Company and Urban Asia. This creates a rather jarring juxtaposition of Oriental and Indian motifs. The benefit is that you get to order from both the restaurants. I would not recommend doing this though as Urban Asia’s expansive menu ensures that you are spoilt for choice. On offer are dim sums, sushi, all of the usual Pan-Asian favourites, quite a few house specialities, and some Chinese. My favourites at Urban Asia are the 'Crabmeat Soup', 'Spare Ribs', 'Maggie’s Farm Parcels', and the 'Classic Nasi Goreng'.The service is sluggish but the food here is pleasant and the portion sizes are generous.
