Dhaba needs no introduction and has been people’s favorite ever since its opening. Known for their authentic north Indian delicacies, Dhaba started almost 30 years back to deliver the comforting flavors of authentic yet zingy Punjabi cuisine to patrons and they have never looked back ever since. The first ever Dhaba outpost opened its door on Delhi’s Aurangzeb Road in 1986. Originally, they started as a small rustic highway-themed restaurant.

Today, this foodie favorite has a whole new mojo – or as they like to call it – SADDA SWAG. Dhaba estd 1986 is now in a new age avatar with a ‘Theka’ for pauwa bottle cocktails, a paan counter and kitschy interiors with colored chandeliers, vintage Bollywood posters, truck art elements, and the zingy ‘tadka’ of Bollywood music to tie all of this together!

Dhaba has expanded pan India now. The theme of Bollywood remains the same and the warm hearty flavors they are known for, of course, remain the same. The décor has been done up in lively hues and adds to the beauty of this place. Bollywood music is played throughout to keep guests in a peppy mood. We also liked their funky truck artwork on the walls.

Undoubtedly, their service is going to amaze you. The always welcoming staff makes your experience delightful. The seating arrangement is fine with wooden tables and an ample amount of seating. All in all, this fun and zesty place offers a kaleidoscope of luscious North Indian flavors with their own distinctive twist and charm.

Coming to the specialty, the food is what attracts us to this place again and again. The variety and the desi North Indian taste you get here are unmatched. Serving both veg and non-veg food, you can choose anything from Shorba, platters, tawa and tandoor dishes, desserts, and more.

In fact, the dishes are also named in desi swag. We highly recommend you try signature Balti Meat, Katori Chaat, Paneer Makhan Masala, Pudina Paratha, Achari Soya Chaap, and Daal Makhani when dining here.

Other equally mind-blowing dishes on the menu include classics like Veg Galouti, Amritsari Kulcha, "NH9" Tandoori Chicken, Vegetarian Platter, and Murgh Malai Tikka.
