Curry House CoCo Ichibanya is Japan’s largest curry chain restaurant that specializes in Japanese-style curry rice. This place also offers an option of making your own Cocoichi by customizing the rice portion, spice level and optional toppings which are available in almost 40 varieties. Some of the toppings which are offered includes options such as meat, seafood and vegetables.

Curry was brought to Britain in the 16th century. After centuries since then ‘Chicken Tikka Masala’ is known as ‘True British national dish’. Curry was introduced to Japan by the British at the end of 19th century. Two London spice merchants got inspired by Indian Garam Masala, create their own blended spice powders and sold it to restaurateurs of Tokyo.

The attraction of exotic flavor has been so amazing that the locals accepted the new dish with great enthusiasm.

At its best Japanese cooking is mixed with aesthetics, religion, tradition and history. Since Rice is an important part of Japan’s cuisine and culture the Curry House makes sure that their Veg, Meat, Seafood and Mixed CoCo ICHI curries are served with Japanese sticky rice. One can enjoy their meal with Juicy Chicken Cutlet, Sizzling momos, crispy and Cheesy crockets, Fried shrimps, Omelette curry, Veg curry and lot more!
