Whether you are looking for a loud evening with friends on a weekend or a quieter one on a weekday, Murphy’s Brewhouse has quite the nice setting for you to make the most of. They have around 6 beers on tap in general and you can always ask for the sampler to make a choice of which one you would like to stick with. Paddy’s Poison, the English Ale was my choice for a while. I also quite liked the Holy Sally, a Belgian Wheat Beer too. If cocktails are your thing and Amaretto is a flavour you appreciate you will quite like the Harvey Wallbanger with vodka, amaretto and orange juice. The Hot Whiskey Toddy for when you are nursing a bad throat and still need a drink anyway is a good choice. For your nibbles, you can begin with the Cheesy Mushroom, which has shrooms stuffed with brie and topped with spicy pepper sauce. You could also choose to go all Mexicana with Cowboy Nachos with Guacamole and Sour Cream with a choice of meat. Their Bacon Wrapped Prawns are quite a treat as well. They have a sizable Indian menu as well if that is the direction you generally lean in too.
