Tucked away in a leafy Kalyani Nagar lane, The Flour Works is a cosy little bistro that is perfect for a first date with a fellow foodie or even for a quiet, me-time meal accompanied by a faithful book. Roomy enough to accommodate large crowds, it has spaced-out, simple yet comfortable seating options. The menu is exhaustive and full of mouth-watering options, including all-day breakfasts (their feta and chives scrambled eggs make for a yummy start to the day) and interesting starters and mains (their slow-cooked pork belly – tender with a subtle crackle – is decadent), besides your typical café fare. The watermelon and feta salad is especially refreshing on a sultry day, and on winter evenings, their potato, bacon and leek soup tastes like home.
