This lounge-cum-dining place in the Seasons Mall has a large outdoor section peppered with both low seating and bar-stool-lined white tables to while away some time over several rounds of tasty drinks. Inside, however, is an even larger arena, with a trippily lit dance floor and plenty of leather couches, shiny woodwork all around and Cuba-inspired art on the walls (think black and white portraits of Che Guevara). The Cuban concept runs strong through the menu, with certain options in the appetiser section centring around a Latin American culinary theme. For example, there is a poutine starter with a Cuban salsa, or some Cigars and Bullets, which are actually crumb-fried fish fingers and potato nuggets with a classic tartare dip. There are also Indian, Continental, American and oriental items to order, as well as some Italian in the form of pastas and pizzas. The drinks reflect a somewhat Cuban rhetoric as well, starting off with shooters such as the classic Cuba Libre (rum, lime and cola) and a Cuban Screaming Girl (this one involves tequila, pineapple juice and flamed rum). There is a Havana Special cocktail with white rum, and a delicious El Diablo with tequila, crème de cassis, ginger ale and lime. If you are a teetotaller, do try the Island Affair, with grape juice, litchi crush, blue curaçao and lemonade.
