This newest addition - a dedicated gin lounge on the 37th floor, just outside By the Mekong, exudes style and the sophistication, characteristic of St. Regis. The view of Mumbai’s skyline from here, is indeed an attraction and the easy-going vibe, further enables you to relax. The modest size of the lounge, notwithstanding, the bar menu is experimental. Expect a few gin-based concoctions that pack a punch and add a dash of inventiveness. The Monkey 47 Lounge with a choice of gin and an array of botanicals, is creative. If something heady, yet dessert-like, is what you are seeking, the 'Wild Monkey' with Espresso, Kahlua and Cocoa, is apt. The well-balanced but bold - 'White Negroni' is a must-try too. The small eats like 'Parma Ham' and 'Fig Crostini' or compressed 'Cucumber and Avocado Toast', from the limited but skilfully crafted menu, are delightful and enhance the experience. The perfect place to unwind before dinner or catch up with a friend. The unobtrusive but alert service, is a highlight.
