This cosy café at a Bandra street corner, with a few tables, is warm and inviting. The décor reflects the food - classic Spanish with a modern twist. Their simple and limited food menu using fresh local produce transports you to sunny Spain. Apart from an all-day breakfast section, there is tapas - lots of little dishes, ideal for sampling a number. The bright and friendly staff takes your order, makes recommendations if you need and offers alert service. The 'Spanish Omelette' generously stuffed with ham and cheese is a treat. There is a vegetarian version too with caramelised onions and potatoes. The 'Casa Lucio Huevos Rotos' or crashed eggs on a bed of potatoes and peppers is well-made. Slathered with herbs and parsley, the Runny Egg Yolks', served with sourdough bread, simply melt in the mouth. The portion sizes, however, could be a bit more generous. Among the tapas offerings, 'Bocadillo De Calamares' and 'Gambas Al Ajillo' stand out with fresh seafood. The 'Lamb Albondigas' or 'Meat Balls', among large plates will make any carnivore squeal with delight. Desserts disappoint, as nothing on the menu is available except brownies. For those who do not want alcohol, there are plenty of juices, smoothies and slushes to choose from.
