Mohali is fast emerging as a go-to place for eating out with family and friends, given the number of new places that have opened up. Located in Connaught Plaza, TDI City on Chandigarh-Mohali International Airport road, Warehouse Cafe is the new arrival on the block. Step inside and you are quickly guided by a hostess to the main lounge area. The interiors are eye-catching and combine the industrial look with modern comfort. There are plenty of seating options here. The menu walks a familiar path but is eager to please with a robust selection. Apart from the usual tandoori and north Indian fare, you will also find Tex-Mex specials like ‘Mexican Corn and Bean’, ‘Mushroom Empanadas’ and the likes. There are some Italian specialities on offer too apart from Indian and Oriental fare. The ‘Hari Mirch ka Bhuna Gosht’ fared better in terms of flavour. There is a selection of wood-fired oven pizzas as well. Even though the place is called a cafe, the menu and ambience give it a more fine-dining feel. If you are looking to try a new place in Mohali, Warehouse Cafe makes for a good choice. The service is quick and eager to please.
