India Bistro is a casual and lively dining space by FoodLink Restaurants, the same folks behind brands like China Bistro and Glocal Junction. In fact, the Kondapur premise is shared with China Bistro, and you can order from both the restaurants. The 'Pani Poori', which is served as a complimentary amuse bouche, is an apt indicator of what to expect here. The presentation is interesting – the flavoured water is served in syringes, and there is an India Bistro twist to the stuffing. However, the dish is still familiar and enjoyable. Majority of the dishes on the menu are from Punjab, with the remaining coming from other culinary hubs in the Northern half of the country. Indian cuisine with a modern touch is what IB promises, and by and large, it pulls it off. Buffet (served on the table) is available for lunch. Pamper your sweet tooth with the 'Chilli Foam covered Guava Kulfi' and 'Litchi Ki Tehri'. India Bistro also features a well-stocked bar with quite a few interesting cocktails.
