As one passes by the bustling bylanes of Anjuna, offset in harmonious botanical splendour is an old heritage inviting home turned restaurant run by Vanna & Marco. Enter the heritage of an ‘old’ Goan home and open garden to relax in. The interior has been beautifully retained; the cosy warmth in the ambience felt the moment one walks in. The courtyard emits a fragrance of fresh baked bread and pizza from the wood-fired oven at the far end. The 'Focaccia' resembling a pizza came in crispy and piping hot. Drizzled with olive oil and black olives it’s a perfect starter to get the gastro juices inflow. Mind you the portions are wholesome and filling, so do order wisely. One has to try the wood-fired pizzas and the 'Pizza alla Bismark' hits the spot for all one's carnivore cravings. For the mains, gut allowing; try the homemade 'Gnocchi' in a variety of toppings from Pesto for the herbivores to 'al Ragu alla Bolognaise'. After a few paces for gut space on well-manicured gardens- dessert presented itself with homemade 'Cannoli Siciliani' with their own concoction of 'Whiskey Crème'. It is an open restaurant, hence non-air-conditioned.
