While you may not be granted the gift of the apple falling on one’s head as you enter, it definitely signifies a grand discovery of a great time at Newtown’s Bar & Kitchen. The décor puts one at ease as you sink into comfortable chairs and start off with their 'Prawns Stuffed Papad with Beef Pepper Garlic' and a heady 'LIT' (Long Island Iced Tea) for a company. It is intoxicating and crunchy all at once and the flavours hit the right palate notes. For the vegetarian look no further than the 'Aioli Pasta in Chilli Oil'. It is a meal in itself and is wholesome. One morsel transports you to the hinterlands. This multi-faceted restaurant also boasts of some continental gems. If you so desire- ask for the fresh 'Clams in White Wine' served with freshly baked 'Garlic Bread' - a signature of the chef. Sign off with the 'Beef Steak' served with 'Sautéed Vegetables' and 'Fries'.
