One of the most popular confectionaries of Goa steeped in nostalgia, has been in existence from the 80s – A Pastelaria continues its tradition of quality at affordable prices. It is a local preferred 'drop in' place for a quick snack. Sample the chocolate gateaux or even the fresh cream gateaux. The cookies and the tea have a soft, smooth texture. Known for its Goan sweet preparations — the dost, cocad and the world famous bebinca — which are not to be found in and around other eateries, they have maintained the traditions of yesteryears and kept it alive. For the savouries in the crispy patties with spicy as well creamy fillings – try the croissants with sczhewan chicken. Do not leave without having the egg patty with that curry paste within. For the sweet craving have the chocolate and strawberry flavoured mousses. They are soft and melting giving you that warm feel within.
