Top 5 New Places To Visit In Ahmedabad

As we enter the winter months and the eating out season hots up, more and more eateries join the food scene. In Ahmedabad predictably, the majority of new food joints are vegetarian but non-vegetarian scene is also heating up and the number of egg lovers keep increasing. So we have made it easy for you. Here is our list of happening new places in town:

Indish

This is the only non-vegetarian eatery we are featuring this month. Indish has opened up in Hebatpur in Thaltej which actually has a more mixed crowd and more non-vegetarians living in the area. This fine dining place serves Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine and its good.

Cost for two - Rs 1100

Khichdi Etc

This eatery opened up in Prahladnagar and as the name suggests, it serves various types of Khichdis including an international twist to the Khichdi. So even as you order for Palak and Corn Khichdi and Akshardham inspired Khicdi, you can also have Thai Khichdi and Mexican Khichdi.

Social Knights

This joint has opened up near Vijay Char Rasta. It’s a place where you can hang out with your friends while eating some snacks and small meals along with coffee or mocktails. There is a huge list of hot and cold beverages available here. Then there are fries, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, pizzas and also desserts. They serve Nutella spread in all kinds of ways like they have Chocolate Nutella momo.

Waffle Waffle

The name of the place is self-explanatory. It is a dessert joint where they serve waffles, pancakes, coffee, tea and even some savoury pancakes and waffles. This eatery has come up on Sindhu Bhavan Road and it is well located as there are many other restaurants there. One can just go to the place for a dessert as well.

Longman’s Pizza

This is a vegetarian pizza place on Prahladnagar Road. Its USP is that they blowtorch the pizzas to cook it so it looks spectacular. The choices are limited. You can also order for fries, burgers and of course garlic bread. They also serve two-in-one pizzas for dual taste.
