Q2. Can an alternative ingredient be used in place of yeast?
A. You can replace yeast with 1/2 part baking soda and 1/2 part lemon juice to equal the full amount of yeast. 1 tablespoon yeast = 1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda and 1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice.
