Navratri festival brings together ritual based puja and fasting and is always accompanied with colourful celebrations all through the nine days. Restaurants in Bengaluru gear up for the festival and here are 4 places that bring you something really nice to look forward to during the festival.

This Navratri, Cubbon Pavilion introduces into its lunch and dinner buffets, a Sattvik menu in the form of an exotic thali. With the idea that well-being is about eating well, not frugally, but wholeheartedly, the menu will feature several specialities such as Kuttu Ki Kadhi, Methi Paneer, Soma rice, Koottu Paratha and more. There are an extensive array of dishes that have been created by Chef Suresh Babu, keeping in mind dietary as well as cultural restrictions of this festive season. You can indulge in Sabudana Bhel, Kaddu aur Palak ke Pakode (Served with Saunth and Dahi ki chutney), Sabudana Thalipeeth (Served with Anar aur Kali Mirch ka Raita, Peanut Chutney), Sabudana Khichdi (Served with Kheera Raita), Khajoor ki Phirni, Singhade ka Halwa and Amaranth ki Kheer and more. Gulab aur Elaichi ki Lassi, Kokum aur Pudina Shikanji, Kesari Piyush (Chilled Gujarati Yoghurt drink flavoured with Saffron and Cardamom) are some of the beverages you can have too.
