Originally it was supposed to be a dedication to Casablanca but the management ditched the idea and just kept the name ‘Rick’s’. A part of The Taj Mahal Hotel, Mansingh Road, New Delhi, the pub is one of the classiest and most exclusive pub of the city. The location allows the pub to enjoy affluent clientele who can afford to drink at such posh place. The bar looks like any other classy hotel bar with brightly lit room and clever furniture. The old school cocktails like penicillin, martini, bee’s knees, south side, mojito, mai tai, whisky sour, bloody mary, pegu club, manhattan, old fashioned, French 75 and margarita are crowd favourites. For munchers’ Asian marinated tofu, butter chilli oyster chicken wings, panko crusted crab fingers, baked shrimp toast, nachos, veg spring rolls, grilled prawns and frites, stir fried fish with lemon pepper sauce and braised bean curd, are available. Rick’s is expensive bar with lot of potential and superb ambience.
