Henri’s Bar has one of the most enviable views in town. Looking out from the 20th floor of Le Meridien, the expanse of Rajpath and Rashtrapati Bhavan lie on one side and a bustling Connaught Place on the other. On a clear day, you could even spot the Yamuna at a distance, next to an imposing façade of the Red Fort. My Classic Martini was chilled just right with a balance of gin and dry vermouth. A plate of Cajun Spiced Fish Fingers was the perfect snack with a moist sole and a well-seasoned, light casing. The décor feels slightly dated and its service is more formal than warm, but there’s hardly a better place in the capital to nurse a drink with a view.
