Housed on the first floor of a quiet street in Adyar, The Good Spot reminds me of the diners that mushroomed in the early 2000s serving good pastas, pizzas and the likes but throwing in a gem of a dish here and there. The Good Spot seems to have targeted the college students and those who are fresh into their jobs, while still being the neighbourhood joint for anyone who wants a fix of simple food. The menu ensures that there is something for most people, with a wide variety of starters and main courses. A couple of pages are dedicated to their specials, called the TGS specials and that is where those gems are. It also caters to those who might want an illusion of having alcohol, with its innovative mocktail menu that has two sizes for every drink with the quantity mentioned in ml. Service is friendly and food arrives in about 10-12 minutes.
