Can you expect the food here to taste as it would in a Mangalorean household? Probably not. Having said that, Kudla at Coraltree does not do a bad job on most days. Check out the prawn ghee roast here – it is one of their hottest selling dishes. Even the butter garlic squid, or the crabs prepared the similar way, is good. And eat them with as much neer dosa as possible – they really know how to make this one. The Basale Kudla Curry (a traditional coconut-based curry cooked with chickpeas and malabar spinach) And yes, do not forget the nuggekai soup (drumstick broth) before you move on to the main course.
