This restaurant is totally calling for your attention, it is a place where you can find all things retro which are refurbished to look fancy and grab your eyeballs. The place has a lot to do with retro cars I guess, once you enter you will see the Ambassador that is coloured in Pink, parked in the verandah. The ceiling has over 100 milkshake glasses which replace the rather common chandeliers. Even one corner of the bar counter is garnered with this ‘front’ of the legendary VW Van. It is all fancy and surely grabs your attention, and, the food menu is surely on similar lines. The eclectic mix of Indian inspired spices juxtaposed in some of the appetizers and mains gives a good chance for people who love their familiar territory in terms of taste and flavours. The non-familiar territory of the menu, however, is totally next level because it has all sorts of fancy things that make the dish sound really good. There is the ‘Confit Garlic Fettuccine Pasta with Chicken’, it has some mushrooms and comes with a tangy and sour sauce which may not be loved by everyone. You will seek out for the flavours of garlic and something else from the menu while you find some hints of it. Clearly, some are misses, while some hits on the menu include the ‘Scottish Salmon with Sautéed Spinach and Baby Carrots’. This dish is nicely done and a good load of credit goes to that great quality of salmon. The drinks and desserts are again, quite posh. Some cocktails are tastefully done. The ‘Watermelon and Caramelised Chocolate Mousse’ surely sounds out of the box. It comes with a really interesting and well made ‘Guava Chili Sorbet’. It is just perfect and it is a good idea for them to sell the sorbet by the scoop.
