As the name suggests, this is the place that introduced Puneites to the delights of guzzling ice-cold, freshly brewed beer. The leafy, breezy al fresco and dimly lit indoor sections are both done up in shades of brown and red, with wooden seating – which includes funky barrels. The pub has four different beers flowing from their taps every day, handcrafted by German brewmaster, Oliver Schauf – my favourites are their sweetish apple cider, the bitter oatmeal stout and the smooth, fruity, light-as-air pumpkin ale. Pair these up with some scrumptious finger foods such as the creole-crumbed onion rings or honey-glazed chicken winglets. If you are looking for something more substantial, choose from their variety of rolls, wraps, kababs, pizzas, pastas, burgers and biryanis.
