Surmay which is known for their Malwani cuisine is back with a bang, now opened up in Erandawane with a huge seating area and better ambience than ever. You get a lavish two-floor seating arrangement which is more spacious than before and you can opt for a separate family room if you are with family members or in a group. The old simple menu is still there with some great additions. The main reason to visit Surmay is their 'Prawns Fry' and 'Surmai Thali' which is something you would not get anywhere in Pune. Thali comes with 'Fish Curry', 'Fish Fry', 'Solkadi', choice of bread and rice. The Fish curry which you get here has the exact thick texture and major flavour of coconut which you expect from a Malwani dish. They have recently introduced all-new tandoor items which you can definitely go for.
