This restaurant is the one that deserves to be experienced at least once. Its roots are actually from Mangalore so you will see a lot of Mangalorean style curries and appetizers on the menu, all of which are brilliant! There is a whole list of other familiar stuff on the menu but the servers will suggest you try something beyond that, which is a great idea & you must. The ambience is quite nice, those Woody undertones all over and then the really comfortable sofas surely add to the experience. First up, we tried the 'Rawas Pudina Tikak' - the Seafood here is based on the fresh catch of the day & I am so glad there is no looking back to Vietnamese frozen Basa. So, on my lucky day, I had the chance to gorge on the rather well marinated Rawas finished in the Tandoor & with a zing of citrus, one of the very finest. The mains as well, has some extraordinary variety of dishes you would have heard of but maybe never tried. This is the place you must try a few of those because they are really well made, finished with butter and some great tasting food under a budget. We tried the 'Chicken Mangalorean Curry', it's finished with some coconut milk and a rather light and balanced gravy, away from all those very heavy and spicy gravies you would usually find elsewhere. Some decent variety awaits for desserts as well, 'Gulab Jamun' is unmissable. Classic Cocktails made with fresh juice and your favourite alcohol are a good idea.
