This new and jazzy, fun Asian restaurant in Pune is here to serve you with some great Asian bowls, Sushi and some really interesting and unique small plates. The ambience of the restaurant is very flashy and nice and the whole setup will remind you of a fancy pub in one of those South East Asian cities. The flash reds, yellows mixed with golden chandeliers sure adds a lot of premium touch to it, considering that this one’s located inside a shopping mall. The first Mamagoto opened in Bangalore followed by Pune. The menu is really interesting and especially for many of you who love Asian food. The ‘Thai Chicken and Water Chestnut Salad’ is that one salad that is unique to this restaurant and you would not find it anywhere in Pune. The nicely cooked chicken and the crunchy water chestnuts makes a playful pairing. There are ample of choices for mains and appetizers, the latter has few good plates of sushi as well. For mains, it is a good idea to get the Asian bowls which are these massive portions of a curry based from South East Asia and that is paired with noodles or rice and a protein along with veggies. Then you have the 'Malaysian Laksa', the rustic and bright yellow colour curry with coconut milk, loads of veggies and heaps of noodles. These are actually a great idea for sharing because they are massive. The desserts are limited but sure to please you, ‘Sticky Rice with Mango’ is the classic you can not miss out on and you must get it when in season. We also like the ‘American style Chunky Caramel Cake’ that has some real charm considering how simple it is. Portion sizes are quite large so make sure you have the idea of sharing.
