The hustle and bustle of the next-door hotel lobby strangely does not seep into the ambience of Kitsch, which exudes tranquility. Adding to the restaurant’s intrinsic elegance are the animal print velvet chairs, black leather couches, sepia-toned walls and the smooth and gentle riffs of blues music. Start with some chicken soup for the soul – the kheema shorba is surprisingly mellow and aromatic, and goes well with some Jodhpuri fish, which comprises tender chunks of basa marinated in a zesty green masala. For mains, something as simple as Hyderabadi murgh should suffice. Do not miss out on the mushroom dal – an effortlessly delicious fusion of two otherwise plain dishes. In the wide array of desserts, the strawberry panna cotta and orange cheesecake tease your taste buds with their sweet, fruity goodness.
