Every city has its own set of cult restaurants that run on nostalgic value more than good food. Kareem’s is one of them. One of the initial places to introduce the concept of kathi kabab rolls to Pune back in the day, this one is your classic no-frills snack house dishing out lip-smacking meat items. Catch a table in the veranda, and order nothing but a few ‘double chicken rolls’ – luscious and flaky paratha rolls with a crispy film of fried eggs crammed with chunks of chicken cooked in a fiery masala. Hangover food does not get any better than this!
