This one is a veteran in Pune’s pub scene – the big daddy of party haunts. Wooden flooring is juxtaposed with charming red walls and psychedelic paintings, and the contemporary pop music blasting out of the speakers makes party animals feel right at home. Once you are done mingling with the friendly crowd around and gushing over the wacky Bollywood coasters, order one of their legendary beer pitchers or a mud slide if you prefer something mellow and cream-based. At some tipsy point in the evening, a round of blackcurrant-flavoured kamikaze shots is a must, accompanied by a plate of buffalo wings (which, as they are considerate enough to point out, are made from chicken and not buffalo meat!) that come drenched in a tangy-spicy sauce, or some beer-battered prawns fried to a crisp golden brown.
