The pleasure of dining something quick and easy, with no fuss is really different and we want that probably at least once a month. That is the time you head to this hidden gem that serves outstanding pastas and pizzas. It is a self-service kiosk that is housed under the Food Society at the Pavillion Mall, this offers great movability, you can quickly pick up what you want and head to shop while the food is getting ready for you. The menu is fairly simple and the overall domination of Indian flavours on Italian cuisine is prominent. So, you may not get 'Gnocchi' and all that jazz but you will surely get 'Butter Chicken Pizza'. So, to talk about the pizzas, they are oven-roasted breads based on the classic Italian Focaccia bread and the base is really light and airy. They are all shaped in a massive rectangle that will give you 8 big square shaped pizza pieces. The options are limited but delicious: ‘Paneer Khurchan’ is the one we tried and loved it. The ‘Lagan Ki Boti Pizza’ is also quite a star! For drinks, we were lucky to enjoy their ‘Watermelon Mojito’ and ‘Orange and Passionfruit Fizz’. The pastas include ‘Mac and Cheese’, classic ‘Aglio-E-Olio with Spaghetti or Fusilli’, sometimes even 'Penne' is available. The taste of all the pastas is bang on. The 'Mac and Cheese' with some grilled chicken is the dish that reverberates soul food. The sides include 'Potato Wedges', 'French Fries' and 'Bruschetta', the last one is the best option because it is not only healthier but more filling than a starchy potato, we say. The desserts include the ‘Classic Brownie’ and ‘Sugar Free Tiramisu’, both of them are very well done and totally worthy of their ‘not-at-all-hefty’ price tag. There may be specials sometimes, like the ‘Fruit Trifle’ or a ‘NY Style Baked Cheesecake’.
