The building of a new franchise around Chai, which is pretty much the National drink of India, is a sign that it will be a sure success. They not only have over 10 types of chai with different types of sugars but also some other grub on the menu which keeps everyone returning to their outlets. The Chai options include a good range of over 6 types of tea available, paired with jaggery, regular sugar, sugarless and even something called as a ‘Dum Chai’. The last one is surely interesting and packs in a whole lot of flavour since it has been simmering away on the dum. If you are off refined sugar, they offer sugarless Masala Chai and an alternative with Jaggery. The base recipe of chai remains the same for any variant you choose. It is quite nice, the flavours of ginger, cardamom, some black pepper are very well mixed and mellow on the palate, does not feel overdone. There are some basic options to eat as well but they are all decked up. Amidst the 'Classic Poha' and 'Maggi', there is ‘Chinese Poha’ and ‘Peri Peri Maggi’ too. Apart from these, there are some basic sweets and cakes which are not so ideal with chai but are on offer. You will have a choice of ‘Chocolate Brownie’, some ‘Tea Cakes’. The service is super quick, no matter the number of customers any day.
