While restaurants today are aiming for minimalist contemporary décor and modern menus, The Sahib Room is a refreshing change that embraces the old world charm. Step inside and you are treated like a Sahib or Memsahib. The restaurant is spacious with elegant furniture. There are a few almost couch-like tables and tall armchairs with pretty upholstery beneath crystal chandeliers. A lot of thought and style has gone into the décor. The adjoining Kipling Bar has a lovely community table, a gramophone and even an old quill pen and magnifying glass placed on an antique desk, patiently waiting for Mr Kipling to arrive. The food is regal, making this a perfect choice for an Indian meal with family or friends.

A city which can satisfy any food aspirations from sushi to paella Sahib Room & Kipling Bar is fighting a battle to hold its fort of forgotten recipes. The menu of Sahib Room is traditionally Mughlai, a treasure of authentic spicy recipes connived by our ancestors. The food is rich and aromatic designed for kings and princesses. Equal attention is paid to Awadhi, Kashmiri and Hyderabadi recipes which are prepared as authentically as possible. Look forward to sampling their kebabs and grilled appetizers. Dhungari aloo, broccoli dak bangla, sahib ki khaas gilawat, subzani paneer tikka, gongura jhinga, murgh akhrot ki seekh, tawa pomfret, mahi gulnaar tikka, jaituni mushrooms and Baluchi sea bass tikka. The main course features, khatti bhindi ke bhujiya, sahib room nalli nihari, khade masala ka murgh, yellow dal tadka, tawa charra aloo, ghar ka murgh, sasranga meat, narangi phool and nizami macchi ka salan.
