With a seedy approach and located in a down market area, this restaurant turns out to be a pleasant surprise, in terms of decor and the vibe. Contrary to the name, apart from Oriental food, this place also has a separate Indian menu. The 'Chicken Clear Soup' is flavourful, but fairly mediocre. Among starters 'Crackling Crispy Thread Chicken', 'Fish Ginger Scallion' and 'Cheese Garlic Ball', stand out. The 'Japanese Katsu Pot Rice with Fried Chicken in a Piquant Sauce', is well-made and worth a try. It is a value-for-money meal. The 'Burnt Garlic Fried Rice' or 'Egg Fried Rice', paired with a 'Hunan Gravy' makes for a good combo. Among the Indian fare, the biryani is what you could opt for. The food is easy-on-the-wallet and the portion sizes are decent.
