Here is a new address if you are craving a proper Italian feast. Inside this bright Foodhall, is a buzzy, but a casual 63-cover restaurant, with fine-dining flair. From rustic pastas to knock-out pizzas, the simple, but the well-crafted menu, offers modern Italian dishes mostly from Sorrento, albeit rooted in tradition. It is a treat to watch the chefs in action in the open kitchen. The menu focuses on ingredients, taking inspiration from the neighbouring different regions. The offerings, in fact, lean more towards vegetarian fare. The 'Chickpea Fritters' or 'Panelle', particularly stand out. Among salads, the 'Insalata Caprese', which is crunchy and well-made, is worth-a-try. And, then the pasta here is sensational – from 'Tortelli Cacio e Pepe' to the 'Gnocchi Alla', these hand-made pastas are bursting with flavours owing to the fresh ingredients and are perfectly seasoned. Less is more, is the Chef’s mantra here and there is no attempt to camouflage the good quality ingredients with fancy cooking techniques. The rustic but lip-smacking food, is not shy of its flavours. Service staff is articulate and well-informed and the service exemplary. The portions are generous and the food here is reasonably priced.
