This popular gastro-pub opens in its new avatar, this time a flight of stairs above Bastian. Small and cosy, it exudes a lively vibe and the understated elegance of the décor is charming. The bar at the entrance is hard-to-miss and is a popular hotspot for people to hang out. The offerings in the bar menu are impressive and exhaustive. The food menu appears limited but is satiating enough. The dishes bear the inimitable stamp of Chef Kelvin Cheung who interacts with his guests. There are abundant gluten-free and vegan options on the menu. Pan seared 'Pepper Chicken', 'Teriyaki Sauce', 'Jalapeno Rice', 'Sunny Side Eggs', is a comforting and flavourful meal. 'The Spicy Ramen' with whole wheat ramen noodles is equally popular and teases your taste buds with the right amount of spice element. Carnivores can relish the 'Pork Miso Ramen' or the 'Bacon Kimchi Fried Rice'. You can ask for Jain options too. The food is high on flavours and quality and sufficiently inventive. Portion sizes are decent but the food is a bit overpriced. Limited dessert options, but worth trying. The service staff is warm and articulate and the service alert but unobtrusive.
