This expansive restaurant with chic décor and a happy vibe gives you the feeling of being at home. The tables are well-spaced offering enough privacy. The menu is an interesting amalgamation of French and Bengali cuisine. There is no attempt at fusion between the two, but each cuisine is presented with its true flavours. Mustard is the common ingredient that runs through all the dishes on the menu in some form. Small and big plates, characterise the food menu, while the bar menu includes classics, twisted classics and signature drinks. The multi-course tradition that is analogous in structure to the service à la russe style of French cuisine, with food served sequentially, course-wise, harmoniously binds the two cuisines here. The French 'Croquettes De Polenta Au Fromage' is a must-have. The Bengali dishes like 'Potoler Doi Shorshe', 'Mochar Guley Kabab', 'Bora Diye Chichingar Hingi', offer delightful flavours, but the cocktail 'Luchis' served with 'Alu Dum' lack the punch. Ask the staff for recommendations when in doubt, as they are articulate and well-informed.
