A must-visit place on any visitor’s list, residents of Mumbai also frequent it for its fresh and good quality seafood. From ghee roasts to gassi and tawa fry and to spicy curries, this place offers a plethora of delicious Mangalorean dishes and more. Consistency has been the hallmark of this place, apart from the outstanding variety. The giant mud crabs, brought to your table for selection, are the highlight here and are irresistible. The refreshing sol kadi made with coconut and kokum, is the best way to digest a spicy meal here. Surmai tawa fry, crab gassi, squid koliwada and garlic pepper prawns are some of the popular dishes. Neer dosa and appams pair perfectly with the luscious Mangalorean chicken curry or the tangy fish gassi. Apart from seafood there are abundant mutton and chicken options too. The seating area is spread over three sections and while the first section is bright, the dimly lit inner area, which is cosier, is preferred by families.
