This newly opened vibrant and cheerful place with expansive interiors beckons you immediately. The cooking theatre with chefs in action at one end is hard-to-miss. The food menu with Spanish and Indian cuisine served with an innovative local twist, characteristic of Chef Ajay Chopra, is enticing. Indian inspired salads, Spanish small plates, wood-fired oven pizzas, gourmet burgers, charcoal grills and artisanal pastries, is what you can expect. The bar menu is equally promising with classics, unique cocktails, wines and spirits. Fresh ingredients, simple cooking techniques and attractive presentation, are the hallmarks of the food offerings here. The 'Confit Chicken' and 'Broon Pao Salad' is a delight for the taste buds, as the moist slow braised chicken complements the fresh greens. Plenty of crunches too. 'Bombay Bravas' with a 'Spicy Ghaati masala' and 'Missal Spin', is lip-smacking and inventive. The 'Calamari a la Matunga' is worth a try. Among burgers, the 'Ragda Mashup' stands out, owing to its unique flavour profile. There may be abundant meat and sea-food options for carnivores, but vegetarians also have enough to choose from. The 'Alfatoon Cheesecake' is worth indulging in. Service staff is well-trained, warm and articulate.
