There is always a new restaurant opening every week, but some have been around for decades and still serve top-notch food. Khyber is one such restaurant that has been a favourite with diners over the years for their wonderful North Indian cuisine. Khyber is on every tourist map and has had some very famous clients drop by, including Shakira, Bryan Adams, Sir Paul McCartney and Richard Gere. The restaurant is spread across two levels and is still the premium choice for diners looking for an Indian meal, especially in South Mumbai. Apart from tikkas and kababs, which are really the high points on the menu, there is plenty of mains, dals, biryanis, breads and dessert.
